There's nothing that makes me feel more like myself than a bold lash. Having a bad day? Put on a bold lash and I promise it will lift up your mood. (Aka Wearapy for your face). Here is a short clip that shows how I specifically like to apply Mai eyelashes and the importance of an amazing lash. The main focus of this look is definitely the bold, luscious eye look, so I decided to keep the face makeup more natural.
Below are all the items I used to complete this look!
Mac 34 Lash: While these are not the lashes I specifically used during this look, these are a SUPER close version to create a similar look.
Urban Decay False Lashes: These are another amazing option of lashes to use at a lesser price.
Selffridges Lashes: These are LESS than $15 and can create that same baby doll lash look.
NYX Cosmetics Stacked Mascara: Mascara is one of those products that I would feel naked without. This NYX mascara creates those perfect "butterfly" lashes without becoming too clumpy. I layer this lightly on Mai eyelashes.
Burts Bee's Lipstick: This is what I used for the base of my lips to enhance more berry into my lips. This has a creamy and moisturizing texture and does not dry out your lips! And its also under $10... so yeah you better get your hands on this product asap.
NYX Cosmetics Glam Lip: I layered this shiny lipgloss to amp up the berry lip color. Not only does this make your lips look heavy and plumper, but by adding a gloss on top of your lipstick, it will help the look last longer!
NYX Cosmetics HD Blush: Now this is a little trick that I like to do, so listen up! To create a balanced look, I used the same blush that was used on my cheeks and lightly brushed it on my eye lids as well.
Mac Mineralized Eyeshadow: After applying the eye shadow base, I applied this on top of my lids to add a bit of extra shine. This eyeshadow is amazing because it creates a shimmery shine look instead of a cakey glittery look.
Elf Eyeliner: This eyeliner has a velvet tip, so it makes it so much easier to apply in comparison to others!
Bobbi Brown Foundation: One of my favorite foundations! It creates a baby soft skin look and doesn't get greasy throughout the day.
Beauty Blender: This is my holy grail product, and I could not recommend enough. It makes applying my foundation so fast and streak free.
Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder: As many of you would agree, this is a staple product to have in your makeup collection. I was not going for a super bronzy look today, but I gently put this matte bronzer on the highlights of my face to balance the blush.
Benefit Cosmetics Highlighter: I place this highlighter on my temples and my cheekbones! It gives my face a healthy glow.
Hourglass Blush: I use this to finish the look off! It is like a blush and highlighter combo, so it looks beautiful if you use gently and brush this over your cheeks and forehead.
